Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Rituparna Aadhya, daughter of former Bangaon Municipality chairman Shankar Aadhya, was seen entering the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office, holding a file in hand on Tuesday.
This development follows the recent arrest of Shankar Aadhya, with the ED uncovering multiple FFMC (Full-Fledged Money Changer) companies linked to him. The investigation has extended to include FFMC companies associated with other family members as well. Prior to Rituparna Aadhya, the ED had already questioned Shankar Aadhya's brother's wife in connection with this matter.
Sources indicate that the ED has been actively probing the financial transactions and operations of the FFMC companies affiliated with Shankar Aadhya and his family.
